- Graduate Certificate in Information System Security at Georgian College is offered as 1-year (2 semesters) plus 1 work term program.

- Additional operating systems, security tools, and software used in the program will be provided to the student upon commencement of the program.
- Emphasis is placed on cultivating the interpersonal, organizational, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills applied to enhance the effective implementation of security in a business environment.
- This program offers a part-time delivery format to complete it according to the student’s schedule and students can register in it on a course-by-course basis format.
- Students can complete the part-time program in 3 years.
- Placement agencies require an up-to-date clear criminal reference check and vulnerable sector check prior to going out on placement. Students should obtain their criminal reference 3 months prior to placement.
- Career opportunities of students may be available in both public and private sector organizations including the financial sector, health care, education, and more.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field from a recognized institution.
- The related fields include computer studies, computer engineering or computer networking, or equivalent work experience in computer networks, operating systems, and programming.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
- All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
- Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Intermediate Examination Certificate
- Pre-University Examination Certificate
- Diploma / Degree certificate Mark sheets for each year of study.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
