Course Curriculum:

As per the study experience is concerned, it was one of the best that I have ever seen. There is study pressure because the approach to study or the way we are taught here is poles apart from what we are taught back in India. Back in India, we do get a lot of spoon feeding like you have your tuition material, you have a lot of easy material to digest basically and over here, 99% of it is self taught. You have to be on top of the things from the very first week.

Course Curriculum:

Its a a wonderful course for someone who wishes to get into the IT world as a consultant. Business analyst, IT manager, Business modelling are some of the key positions. Over the past 5 years the course of IS has grown by 24% and seems to keep growing.

The UoM has a high research output and is ranked 32 all over the world. It has a great academic and employment reputation. Moreover the structure of the course I selected seemed to meet my interest as well. To add to this Australia is a beautiful country to travel in as well and Melbourne ranks in the world's top 10 most livable cities.

Course curriculum is not easy. First year was swift but the grill and thrill begins from second year.

I choose this university because of the scholarship it was providing for its Year 1 studies.

Course Curriculum:

The Course Curriculum and Academics are excellent. The syllabus is very relevant and gets our foot into the door of our chosen field. However, there is some level of individual effort required to learn what is currently Industry standard as the University does standardize its course a bit. However, all tools used and taught like Matlab, etc. are taught using up-to-date versions.

Fees:

The yearly tuition fee for my program is approximately 45000 AUD and the total tuition fee for a standard 3-year degree is 170000 AUD.

Course Curriculum:

The Course Curriculum is one of a kind. The University allows us to choose out subjects according to our own choice and order which makes the course customised for us as students. We are also provided industry exposure via programs like GVIP(https://students.unimelb.edu.au/careers/get-career-ready/leadership-and-employability-programs/global-victoria-intellect-program) and Live projects (https://students.unimelb.edu.au/careers/get-career-ready/leadership-and-employability-programs/live-projects-for-international-students) along with subjects like Business Practicum (https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/2020/subjects/busa90473). I have undertaken or would be studying them in the coming semesters, and can say for sure that they provide hands-on experience with great networking opportunities and increases exposure to a great extend.

When I was thinking of choosing my University I had in my mind that, The University of Melbourne is Australia’s number one University and comes in the global ranking of the best universities in the world and is recognised as the best in the world for business and management programs. It has world class infrastructure with libraries, computers, internet and research base that will help me in creating the kind of future I want for myself. It will provide me with in depth knowledge about HR and help me grow more in this field.

It is okay. I like the option of selecting breadth subjects that are away from the discipline i have chosen. on the other hand i feel the structure of assessment could vary with other ways of getting real world exposure. E.g adding an extra year for internship

Top university in Australia , ranked high for commerce degree
