The application deadline for Semester 1 is 30 November.
- Students will be guided by academics who have worked on ground-breaking innovations in medical bionics, human movement, prosthetics and tissue engineering. Some of these breakthroughs include: the bionic eye, implants to help control epilepsy, treating real-world injuries with virtual reality and tissue regeneration for patients recovering from breast cancer.

Applicants must hold one of the following engineering pathway degrees from the University of Melbourne, with a weighted average mark of at least 65%, they will be eligible to enter the 2-year program:
- Bachelor of Science with a Bioengineering Systems major
- Bachelor of Biomedicine with a Bioengineering Systems major
Indian Student Eligibility:
To get admission in this program the minimum ATAR score (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) for
- CBSE Students – 65
- ISCE Students – 65
- State Board Students – 75
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
