The honest answer to this question is because I personally love the vibe of Melbourne, Australia as a whole. They have a live and let live kind of attitude, therefore, I chose Australia. Further, The University of Melbourne is ranked higher than other universities I got into (in Canada and US).
Course Curriculum
In my University, they give full exposure to the real industry. There are several programs run by the University or the Faculty which helps all the students to develop essential skills and learn/grow through those experiences. There are also vast number of clubs/societies which are run by students and it enhances university experience by providing networking opportunities and making lifetime friends.
Exams
For my application I had to submit 1 SoP and 2 LoRs. In my Sop, I highlighted my interest for business along with my eagerness to learn new things. Further, I included my academic achievements and all the Co-curricular engagement activities performed during my school years. Also, I included the main reason I am willing to choose Australia and The University of Melbourne. In my LoR, my professional teachers (Professors) gave a detailed explanation of my performance in the classroom setting followed by my enthusiasm for Commerce.
Placement
I just now entered third year of my degree, hence I am not very familiar with these aspects. But I know that there are many networking events held by our University and companies like Google, Deloitte, Loreal, PwC, Amazon etc usually visit the campus.
Internship
In Australia, Co-op is not widely recognised. There are many internships but usually very less are available for international students. Unfortunately, I was not able to be a part of Internship program as for yet.
Events
There are over 200 clubs and societies, at our university, ranging from fun clubs to NGO type clubs to faculty related clubs. Before COVID-19, University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) also hosted a band festival every Tuesday where students receive free food and alcohol. There are so many events held during the orientation week for all the new students as well as the existing ones including " sleepover at uni" and "welcome students beach party". There is a separate library for every faculty and mostly all libraries can be accessed by all the students, regardless of their faculties, anytime during the day and near exam time 24/7. Lastly, I would sum-up my University experience as OUTSTANDING because these 1.5 years at University helped me grow as a person and made me explored parts of me I never knew existed.

There is high flexibility offered to all the students in regards to choosing Majors, subjects and timetable. The Faculty can be easily approached by us via email but usually all the issues are addressed by a central community called "Stop 1". More info about FBE https://fbe.unimelb.edu.au/
