It's the closest university to my house and also has international accreditation. Also renowned university for STEM and agricultural sciences. It was probably the hardest course to get into Australia, but financially it was the best choice for me.
Course Curriculum
It's a really intense workload, but there is plenty of help available - professors and tutors and demonstrators always available to help out. It's just a lot of content for a short amount of time. As I take two hours of public transport a day, it's hard to keep up with the workload.
Fees
It is full-fee and also government supported places, but those are limited. Full-fee spots are the majority.
Examination Structure
A little crazy. I think I have thirteen exams this year, which are designed to test the application of knowledge rather than recall of knowledge, to apply what we've learned to various scenarios. We also have microbiology practical exams to test how we work in the lab.
Faculty
All the professors and lecturers and demonstrators and tutors are absolutely lovely. They all are welcome to questions and like to spend the time to help you understand the material.
