Melbourne University has a great reputation and is known for having one of the best law schools in the country and as my end goal is to do the law that's why I chose to go here over the other options. It also has great facilities.
Course Curriculum
Overall it's really good because it covers a lot over the semester however there's a lot of theory which takes up too much of the course time. If you took out some of the theory and replaced it with more current examples it would be much better.
Fees
I have chosen to put all my uni fees on HECS debt but each subject you take is a few thousand dollars.
Examination Structure
For most, we have essays throughout the semester and then one final take-home exam at the end which is usually an essay. Some of my other subjects like law breadths just have the usual end of year exam with a couple of small assessments throughout the semester.
Faculty
It's okay but not great. They get back to you within 48 hours but there's not really an open relationship between teachers and students where you can easily ask someone for help.
