This college provided an international perspective on the curriculum and offers the courses I am interested in. It also offers a lot of guidance and support for international students. Whilst it is still close to Sydney, parramatta offers a little more calm neighbourhood which makes it easier to focus on education.

Course Curriculum

8

It offers a variety of different content that prepares me well for my future career, so I am very satisfied

Exams

This program offered the right balance between practical and theoretical content. It has the right combination of assignments and final exams to comprehend the learning materials. Since the curriculum was only limited to a certain amount of students I think this will benefit our future as it makes the students more unique upon completing the course.

Internship

This course offers a lot of internship opportunities are offered to put out theoretical knowledge into practice. Personally, I have worked at the Bankwest stadium for my Sports Entertainment course where I conducted surveys for academic purpose.

Fees

Unfortunately, I did not have any scholarship available, so I paid everything with a student loan I got from the Dutch government. Based on the grades you get and the income of your parents there are however limited opportunities to receive a scholarship but they require a lot of effort and time investment for application.

Scholarship

I got government loan. I need to pay it back within 10 years.

Examination Structure

The exams are well structured with a good balance between open ended and multiple choice questions.

Faculty

7

It is a great faculty, offering good possibilities for the future. The classes are not too big which is great because it gives you the freedom to ask a lot of questions. The academic level is also sufficient.

Hostel

I stayed at the University Village in Parramatta, because I wanted to live together with other international students. They organise various activities to keep us entertained and the free bbq and breakfast on Sunday are a great advantage.
