Pretty much all the information that you are looking for is available online. You can approach one of the consultants also. I approached IDP and I feel that literally all the information that they gave me was available online. In my case, my younger brother had already started his under graduation in the same university. So, as per the university life experience was concerned, I obviously talked to him about it.
Course Curriculum :
As per the study experience is concerned, it was one of the best that I have ever seen. There is study pressure because the approach to study or the way we are taught here is poles apart from what we are taught back in India. Back in India, we do get a lot of spoon feeding like you have your tuition material, you have a lot of easy material to digest basically and over here, 99% of it is self taught. You have to be on top of the things from the very first week.
Exams :
They don't require any entrance exam as such. The only exam I was required to give was GMAT which is only necessary while applying for MBA. For Master of Management, they basically look at your holistic portfolio which includes your educational background, whatever you have scored in your school, your bachelors. Having work experience is not a must but, it is obviously recommended if you have that. It is a good bonus point for you. Apart from that, they look at your extra-curricular activities like if you have done any volunteer work or anything. I needed an IELTS of 7+ bands in all the 4 bands. LoRs are not a must. But, if you can submit at least 2 of them, that will give you an advantage. I submitted an SoP of a minimum of 2,500 words. Be as authentic as possible in your SoP. Don't try to copy and paste from someone else's. Try to include your experiences, whatever you have done in your school life, whatever you have done in your graduation. Apart from that, I would suggest try to gain as much real life experiences as you can in your under graduation, it will help you in your SoP.
Placement :
The course that I am doing is more relevant to people who are looking to complete or pursue CA or CPA as per the Accounting is concerned. If you want to go to Finance field, then it is good. Even as the brochure mentions, 70% of the CFM material is covered in the 2 year study material given over here. If you complete the Accounting part of it, you are given exemption of first class or something in CPA. The recruitment process is very different from India. There is no campus placement as such. You have to approach the companies to get a job. So, you can go through job portals like Indeed, Seek, etc. or networking. Companies do come telling about vacancies that they have.
Internship :
There are a lot of opportunities provided by the university and we could apply outside also.

Faculty :
Every subject has on an average, 150-200 students. There is one particular professor who takes the lectures and then, there is an assistant professor who takes care of all the workshops. So, I would say 2 teachers to about 200 students. The teaching material and the way the teacher teaches is totally different than what we get in India. There is more focus on practical approach, reason being that teachers and subjects whatever that I have learned over here is that they try to give us cases on real life study. Even we are given assignments based on real life case studies. Case studies that have not been solved by students earlier. They have to take help from consulting form and stuffs. Rather than having a hypothetical situation, we are most of the time given real life case studies to work on.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure is fabulous. It is literally state of the art. Anything you name it, library, gymnasium, sport facilities. Since lockdown started because of the pandemic last year, the social interaction has been very minimal. I started in 2019, at that time social interaction was there. There are a lot of clubs, societies and the parties that go on. You get a lot of opportunities to meet people, like-minded people and not necessarily just people from the same ethnicity, you meet people from all around the world and learn a lot of things. The university has a lot of societies. It's actually a vast array of societies and cultural societies that they have over here. They have economic society, Bollywood society, Indian society, dance society, etc. I would like to recommend that whoever is applying for this university, try and reach Melbourne at least one week before your program starts so that you can attend the orientation week. In that particular week, obviously you will get the whole tour of the university. All around the year, there are free programs that are conducted. There is astronomy club, chess club, etc. You do occupy throughout the year.
Hostel :
I was living in private accommodation whereas there are 3 types of accommodation available. First is we can go for university accommodation, second is private accommodation and the third is we can look for a flat or house nearby university. University accommodation is not so good, there are not so much facilities but that is quite economical.
