Moreover the structure of the course I selected seemed to meet my interest as well. To add to this Australia is a beautiful country to travel in as well and Melbourne ranks in the world's top 10 most livable cities.
Course Curriculum :
Its a a wonderful course for someone who wishes to get into the IT world as a consultant. Business analyst, IT manager, Business modelling are some of the key positions. Over the past 5 years the course of IS has grown by 24% and seems to keep growing.
Exams :
Previous academic results (Minimum GPA 7.2/10), IELTS - 7.0 (Minimum), GRE not required.
Placement :
Students need to apply to companies on their own . The university has a portal which allows them to access the job opportunities that have been registered under them.
Events :
There various clubs for students to join that conduct events on a weekly basis.
Scholarship :
Yes, I got the Melbourne school of engineering scholarship worth AUD10,000 for the span of two years. There was no special application, based on your previous academics is what they judge you. Once you submit the application you're eligible for it. It is for them to decide if you deserve the scholarship or not.
Faculty :
The faculties are very well versed and have all the knowledge to teach students.
Hostel :
The university has their own accomodation which charges about 300-450 AUD weekly. Students usually prefer to stay outside as it is cheaper.
