Because my cousin who is an Australian citizen spoke highly about it and recommended it and I am extremely satisfied that I decided to study at Deakin.
Course Curriculum
I would say that the most prominent part about it is that it's designed in a way that it meets the industry requirements and standards because they are advised by them to specifically to do so, otherwise it might lead to a situation where a graduate is finding it hard to secure a job. Yes, you can get some experience in form of an internship.
Exams
I think you need a score of 6 in IELTS for most courses to study at Deakin, and I recently took PTE where my overall score was 72 wherein I scored 76, 72, 72 and 75 in listening, reading, speaking and writing respectively.
Placement
There are plenty of jobs available with amazing career prospects but you have to cover the hard yards and apply online since there is no placement culture as such down here.
Events
I would say it is very vibrant and it gives a very positive and fun vibe. Their is dynamic infrastructure which is being built so it really lives up to the expectation and campus life is pretty good and it becomes even more fun if you have a great group of friends.

The faculty and staff are super nice and they are incredibly supportive and they are passionate about teaching their students.
Hostel
No, I do not so, I live in a Suburb called Clayton which is known for having a majority of Asian community and the best part about is that you won't miss home all the time and it is known for all the restaurants and the food trucks we have here.
