My overall experience is good. Though there are lots of assignments given so sometimes it is difficult to cope up with. However, academically it is good but I guess they should consider providing us part time jobs or placements.

I chose Deakin University because it is one of the well-recognised university in Australia. Moreover, the unit chairs are very reputable researchers and very helpful. Lots of research projects are there to undertake if someone is interested.

Course Curriculum

8

I am enjoying my course since tutors are very helpful and assignments are very well structured. I believe I am being prepared for a better future.

Exams

I took PTE with an overall score of 84, Listening - 76, Speaking - 75, Reading - 88 and Writing - 90

Placement

7

I am not sure about placements since Deakin does not provide any placement. I am still wondering as I believe it should be Universities responsibility to provide placements or at least they should provide part time jobs to students.

Events

Campus life might be a fun as due to lockdown could not enjoy enough. Though my orientation week was quiet interesting. I met new friends and enjoyed all the activities and events.

Scholarship

yes, they offered me a scholarship of 20% due to my marks more than 80% in bachelors.

Faculty

9

There are around 250 students in one subject and sometimes more but since all lectrues are recorded so there is no chance of missing any stuff. Apart from that workshops are very well divided say 40 or 20 in one group at a time depending on the ratio. Besides, peers mentoring programs are there to support you and extra help hub sessions are there.
