Overview
Torrens is one of the most affordable universities in Australia. Their education is assignments and exams based. My course is also accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) which would help me in getting my skill assessment after completing this course. Their online education is very flexible and they have campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide. Any student from these campuses can join a class from any other campus as per their availability. Moreover, work and studies can be managed efficiently.
Fees
AUD $51200 which increases every year by up to 5%.
Overview
It is a partner university with the one back in Malaysia so it was convenient to do a twinning program here. Also, this university is Australia's leading hotel school for hospitality education hence it makes sense for me to choose this university.
Fees
The fee is a little pricey as compared to other courses and universities. However, it is worth the money. I did not have any other charges except for visa and insurance applications.

Most individual universities in Australia have their own set of criteria for admissions. While gap year acceptability varies from one university to another, small gaps of one or two years are normal. You will however need to justify large gaps of three to four years. Justification for the gap is necessary, irrespective of the course you intend to join. You may also have to provide evidence as a reason in some cases.
Torrens University has 4 main intakes a year with 2 accelerated intakes in the month of February, May, September, and November. You can apply at any time in the whole year before the commencement of the next intake session. The institute considers ATAR scores and other requirements for admission to the programs.
