Because it gives students practical skills in working with others to address the complex problems facing our government and our society.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts from all universities and colleges ever attended
- Official transcripts should contain a course by course evaluation from an accredited agency
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0 in undergraduate coursework
- Submit three letters of recommendation from individuals qualified to critically assess the applicant's prior academic (usually college professors), employment, artistic, research and/or clinical experience (clinical or research supervisor/manager) and qualifications (as applicable) as well as the applicant's potential as a graduate student in the field/program selected.
- Applicants must submit a resume
- Applicants must submit a 500-1,000 word typed personal statement within the application that describes the applicant's career at the present time, where he or she wants to be in five years, and how the MPA program will help the applicant get there.
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 213 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
