- Through the rigorous and hands-on program, the student will hone their analytic, modeling, and computational skills—and apply them to make an impact in an industry of interest, such as biology, computer science, physics, economics, or engineering.
- Students will also undertake an industrial project and learn communication and business skills that prepare them to work in multidisciplinary teams and take leadership roles in the corporate world.
- WPI’s professional master’s in Industrial Mathematics will prepare students to use sophisticated mathematics to solve increasingly complex problems that arise in business and industry.
- Students will build a strong foundation through core courses in numerical methods, modeling, and discrete math.
- Students will also select a 4-course coordinated module that enables students to apply their knowledge to an outside area of interest.
