Founded in 1858, Winona State University is a comprehensive public university with close to 8,500 students.
Students must be admitted to the Teacher Education Unit before taking Professional Education courses. This process is competitive; the number of students admitted each semester is limited. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be translated into english if not in English
- Submitting SAT/ACT scores is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 68 in IBT; 520 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
- PTE: minimum 47
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- SAT: minimum 1060
- ACT: minimum 21
