As active participants in the study of behavior and mental processes, our students learn to think critically, reason scientifically, exercise ethical responsibility, be cognizant of diversity, and speak and write in the discourse of the discipline. Students accomplish these aims through extensive research training, internship opportunities, caring academic advising, and career/professional development throughout the major. With this foundation, our students become better prepared to develop their potential for lifelong learning.
