The Finance major at Baylor University offers two focuses, Corporate Finance and Investments. Corporate Finance is the study of research and acquisition of assets for companies. The study of Investments includes the valuing of financial securities and corporate and personal portfolio management.
The program also offers a Commercial Banking Program. Students graduating with a Finance degree can expect to find many career opportunities. Graduates find jobs in corporate finance, credit management and financial consulting. They also find opportunities in investment banking and commercial banking.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must contain the details of all courses, grades etc
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency like ECE or WES
- Applicants must submit an essay as a part of the application
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in ibt;
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 110
- PTE: minimum 60
