Placement
The on-campus jobs were great and allowed for you to be able to be part of the university culture. I worked on campus for three years and loved every moment from the coworkers to the friends you make on the job and off.
Internship
Depending on your college program you could be fortunate enough to land an internship that paid. But most of the time you spent your semester working for free to fulfill the internship portion of your degree. For on-campus jobs, you could get on and it was great I enjoyed mine. It helped me make a lot of good connections.
Placement
The job placements or opportunities are good if you were to go into teaching at a K-12 setting. But beyond that, a masters degree would be the best route to help you teach or work at a greater capacity when it comes to working in the field of History.
Internship
Yes, my college did. But I never had to do one for my degree and I was happy and sad about it at the same time. I was happy because I didn't have to do it. But sad because I feel like it would have offered skills that would have benefited me in finding a job in my field.
