Founded over 130 years ago in 1887, Troy University is located in the southeastern part of the U.S. close to Florida and the city of Atlanta. The University has its main campus known as Troy campus and operates from Dothan campus, Montgomery campus, and Phoenix City campus. The university has two partner campuses in Vietnam and one in Malaysia.

The Troy campus has an enrollment of 7,000 students and around 29,000 students globally. Troy has a total enrollment of 16,970 students with 13,354 undergraduates and 3,472 graduates. The student body comprises 1000+ international students representing 50 states and 80 countries. It offers a truly international experience to study in US and is therefore known as “Alabama’s International University”.

Troy University Campus

Troy University Residence

  • All freshmen under the age of 19 need to stay on campus if not residing with their parents.
  • The university has 11 residential halls and apartments namely Clements Hall, Cowart Hall, Gardner Hall, Hamil Hall, Honors Cottage, Newman Center, Pace Hall, Rushing Hall, Shackelford Hall, Trojan Village, and University Apartments to accommodate the students on campus.
  • The residences have all the basic furniture and fixtures, internet, laundry, recreational and other facilities for the occupants.
  • Students can travel around campus through university shuttles and personal vehicles.
  • The housing and meals cost approximately 13,500 USD for an academic year.
