The athletic training major is designed to offer the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for a student to become eligible to take the Board of Certification national examination.?
The program is structured to prepare students for entry-level athletic training positions and graduate studies in athletic training. This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Because of the nature of the clinical education portion of the program, the athletic training program is selective, and space is limited.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all secondary school coursework and grades
- The official transcripts and grades should be translated into English
- Submit an essay written in English
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a counselor, teacher or headmaster
- Submit English Language Proficiency requirements
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 550 in PBT; 79 in iBT; 8.5 in Essentials
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 110
- Should complete the English 112 certificate offered by ELS Language Centers accompanied by a letter of recommendation from an administrator and a 500-word English writing sample.
