The MA program offers flexibility, depending on the student’s career plans. Students choose from one of three professional development options: research, internship, and internship-based research (a hybrid of the other two). All three options are expected to have an applied component, but differ in emphasis and setting. MA is a terminal degree that qualifies them for professional careers in administration, program evaluation, planning, research, and cultural resource management.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the academic requirements of the program:
- Students must complete a bachelor’s degree from an approved regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent).
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) is required.
- Students from countries where English is not the official language, and who have not earned at least a bachelor’s degree in the U.S. from a regionally accredited institution, must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
