The curriculum for this degree includes core courses and electives covering a wide range of environmental health topics and disciplines, including: environmental chemistry, pollution monitoring, hazardous waste management, water and wastewater treatment, policy analysis, and environmental health law and regulation. Hands-on research experience is a key aspect of the program. Students are expected to work closely with faculty and complete a research-based master?s thesis. This degree is designed for individuals who anticipate careers in environmental health consulting, research, or practice; and for those interested in pursuing doctoral work in environmental or occupational health.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a bachelors degree which is four year equivalent of an US degree
- Submit official and unofficial transcripts of all the previous education
- Report all the prior school atttended
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in undergradaute education is required for admission
- Students with GPA less than 3.0 need to sign an approval letter from the Dean’s office
- Submit GRE scores
- Submit statement of purpose
- Submit personal history statement
- Resume
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: Minimum 80 in IBT;
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 required
- Duolingo: minimum 105 required
