Some companies in healthcare and finance domain use SAS for data analysis. This is not open source. The curriculum gives good exposure to SAS and we are required to get some basic certifications in SAS. There is lot of flexibility in terms of curriculum which can be used for selecting electives and tracks in analytics field. Also there are lot of courses in statistics and computer science department which we can choose if required. The course work is not very hectic as the entire program is laid out in 2 years. Prior to internship, we get good exposure for all the basics in the first year of the program. This helps during internship .

There is good chance for assistanships from second semester onwards. Assistanships can cover lot of financial things. 2) The program is repurted and has straing alumuni base. 3) Good chances of internship. Good success rate in the program. 4) Mandatory to submit one research paper in SAS conference and also participate in case competitions. This gives very good exposure
