The Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree allows students to continue their specialized studies of the discipline. Many students who earn their MAcc degree seek careers as Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). The 30-hour degree has a curriculum that comprises subject matter from the CPA examination. Many students take the CPA exam while completing the requirements for the MAcc degree.

As a MAcc student, you will:
  • Increase your technical skills,
  • Improve your critical thinking skills, and
  • Strengthen your communication and interpersonal skills

After completion of the program, it is common for students to then seek licensure. Each state’s requirements are different to take the exam and to earn a license. Our program offers courses in SAP systems, one of the hottest new fields for business professionals. In addition, a variety of courses related to tax topics such as partnerships and corporations to gifts, trusts, and estates are offered.
