Maryville has students and graduates working and interning as photographers and photo editors in broad fields such as event, sports, private studio, medical, photo-journalism, product, commercial and exhibition for organizations such as Alive Magazine, AA Importing, the Missouri Botanical Gardens and the St. Louis Blues. Additionally, many graduates have gone on to start their own professional photography studios and earned acceptance into reputable MFA programs.

InternshipsBFA students in the Photography and Digital Art program are required to complete a professional internship prior to graduation. We continually cultivate and maintain relationships throughout the St. Louis design community and beyond to ensure that internship experiences are tailored to meet our students? interests, and assist them in building valuable experience. Our internship program gives graduates a competitive edge and often leads to full-time job placements.
