The department's goal is to help graduate students attain a mastery of analytic and technical skills associated with the humanistic endeavor of producing and analyzing texts in the English language. By choosing one of two concentrations, our students engage with the digital humanities and produce interesting, provocative, and useful projects for the public. A master's degree in English will prepare students to engage the issues that truly matter in our culture, as well as for doctoral study in the field of English and for jobs in the digital humanities within and outside of academia. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Applicants should submit official transcripts of all previous coursework completed
- Official transcripts need to be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 6
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 50
