- With an emphasis on economics as it relates to business, the Albers’ Bachelor of Business Administration (BABA) in Economics degree provides a comprehensive study of economics, business policy, and strategy. Designed for students interested in solving problems and making decisions in the private and public sectors, the program cultivates students' analytical, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Seattle’s highly effective, dedicated faculty help students develop the skills they need to be an effective and ethical leader. In addition, the Economics Department has an advisory board that consists of local economists from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Seattle’s work with these experts indirectly enhances a student's experience. For instance, feedback from the advisory board and other professionals has inspired Seattle’s faculty to create assignments that help students develop the skills most valued by employers.
- Upon graduation, students will be equipped to apply the skills they have learned as they pursue graduate study and/or careers in economics, data analytics, law, business, public administration, or other areas of business.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Undergraduate applicants should have the equivalent of a U.S. grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Provide official, certified English language translations of all transcripts from each educational institution attended.
- Official external mark sheets should be submitted as part of the evaluation process in the educational system attended. Transcripts must have the official seal or stamp from the issuing institution.
- Students who have completed the Ordinary and/or Advanced Levels, or the International Baccalaureate must have the results sent directly from the testing agency.
- Applicants whose native language is other than English must demonstrate English proficiency regardless of the length of residency in the U.S., their citizenship, or their immigration status.
- Seattle University does not require the ACT or SAT of international freshman applicants. However, these scores do enhance an application, and sufficiently high critical reading and writing scores will be accepted in lieu of the TOEFL to demonstrate English proficiency.
