Visa Process for International Students

Students can apply for an international visa after receiving an acceptance notification from the university and submitting the required documents to obtain an I-20 form. However, the application process for the visa can be initiated only after applying to the University. After receiving the I-20 form, the SEVIS I-901 fees must be paid by the applicant. The applicant can then schedule a visa interview at their nearest U.S. consulate at their hometown and obtain an F-1 visa to study in the US.
