The Master of Arts in Special Education is an individually designed program in an area of emphasis. This degree emphasizes research and leadership skills within a select program of study.
The degree prepares individuals for employment in education in public and private agencies serving people with disabilities, and in other related human service fields.
Programs within the department provide students with an opportunity to learn from and participate in on-going research, demonstration, training, and clinical projects conducted by faculty. Students select one of the following program emphasis areas.
