These skills will aid in the pursuit of a career in a variety of fields.The Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a concentration in Social Studies is designed for students intending to teach history, geography, government and economics at the secondary school level. The signature experience is encapsulated in History Standards and Their Public Reception. This course reviews the ongoing debates over the content of history curriculum in the schools among historians, educators and the public.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicants must submit high school diploma
- Applicants must have minimum GPA 2.5 or equivalent
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- PTE: minimum 58
