Students are expected to develop a higher level of analytical and critical thinking skills than undergraduate students, develop the ability to think theoretically and practically about increasingly complex problems, and communicate their understanding through a project or thesis.

Learning Outcomes:

• synthesize information in an area of study within Kinesiology and communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form using an appropriate style guide.
• demonstrate the acquisition of knowledge and understanding in an area of study within Kinesiology through a culminating experience.
• evaluate research literature and engage in productive research and/or scholarly activity as appropriate to their chosen career goals.
• acquire the necessary conceptual and practical skills necessary to read and evaluate the professional and research literature and conduct research in the behavioral, biophysical, or social specializations of kinesiology.
