As an undergraduate program of Dominican?s new College of Health Sciences, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) equips students with the knowledge to sit for and pass the NCLEX-RN examination, the skills to obtain licensure to practice as a registered professional nurse and the liberal arts perspective to use their talents in multiple settings and to make a positive contribution to the world.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Dominican University is approved by the?Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, 320 W. The program prepares graduates to be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for licensing as a registered professional nurse.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of secondary school and all previous education
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by ECE or any other agency
- Applicants must have a GPA of minimum 2.7 for admissions consideration
- Applicants need to submit an essay
- Submitting official SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79-80
- IELTS: minimum score of 7
- PTE: minimum score of 53
