Cognitive neuroscience is the study of higher cognitive functions in humans and its underlying neural bases. By definition, it is an integrative area of study drawing principally from cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, and linguistics. There are two broad directions which can be taken in this concentration—one is behavioral/experimental and the other is computational/modeling. In either case, the goal is to understand the nature of cognition from a neural perspective.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of your high school and secondary school that you have completed
- Official transcripts should contain English translation if not originally in English
- Applicants should submit an essay about themselves
- Applicants can submit SAT/ACT scores for admission consideration
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 100 in iBT; minimum score of 600 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 8.0
- Duolingo: minimum score of 130
