Health Information Management professionals collect, integrate, and analyze primary and secondary health care data, utilize new technologies, and manage information resources related to research, planning, financing, and evaluation of health care services.
Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take a national certification examination and earn the credentials Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). The RHIA certification exam is administered by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and recognized by employers throughout the continuum of health care.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must submit official transcripts of high school and other education attended
- Official transcripts must have course by course evaluation from an NACES accredited agency
- Submit SAT/ACT scores if applicnant is under the age of 21
- Submit English Proficiency Test scores
