The program includes 44 credits of Mathematics courses, starting with the Calculus sequence. These courses include the two-semester upper level sequences of Math 321/421 and Math 335/435. In addition, the program requires 21 credits of related requirements from the fields of Economics, Computer Science, Finance, and Accounting. Students pursuing this degree have enough free electives to pursue a minor or to explore other academic interests. To receive the B.S. Degree in Mathematics: Actuarial Science, the student must meet the minimum university requirements and specific requirements for the program. Completion of 120 credits is required for this degree which includes the Liberal Arts and Sciences Core (42 credits).
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit proof of completing secondary education within your home country for minimum 12 years
- Submit official transcripts which should contain marksheets, grades etc.
- Official transcripts must be certified true copies or notarized photocopies
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 61 in iBT; 500 in PBT; 173 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 5.5
- SAT: minimum 990 in the Maths and critical reading section
