Successful graduates will earn New Jersey teaching certification P-12, which is the most respected credential for teaching pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in the public schools. Students must apply and be admitted to the Teacher Education program. For further information, see the BA in Dance. (note: Students in all Theatre & Dance majors must pass yearly juries/portfolio reviews for continuation in the pre-professional programs.)
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all secondary school attended. Transcripts must be in English
- Submit Essay or personal statement. Students can also submit resume or list of extra curricular activities
- Submit two letters of recommendation showing your candidature for the field of study
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 70 required
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- Pearson: minimum 48
- SAT: 480 minimum in EBRW section
- ACT: 22 minimum in English section
