Students willing to secure admission in Undergraduate courses offered by the Minom State University are required to submit an online application with a fee of 35 USD.

Minot State University Graduate Admissions

Minot State University offers over 15 graduate programs such as Master of Education, Master of Science in Management, Master of Science in Sports Management, Master of Science in Special Education, among others. Students willing to take admission must fill an online application with a fee of 35 USD.

Admission Requirements:

• Write a ‘Statement of Purpose’ essay in minimum 500 words and upload the word document in the application itself.
• The programs of Education Specialist in School Psychology, Master of Science in Information Systems, Master of Science in Management and Master of Science in Sports Management require a resume to be uploaded too in the application.
• Recommendations should be sent through the MSU recommendation by the person who gives the recommendation. The form is sent to that person’s email id by the graduate school.
• Test scores: English proficiency level test scores to be submitted like TOEFL/ IELTS/ Duolingo English test.
• Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Subject test scores to be submitted for the following courses-
  • Education Specialist- School Psychology
  • Master of Science in Communication Disorder- Speech-Language Pathology: At least 3.5 in writing section
  • Master of Science in Management (MSM) - Required ONLY if most recent semesters contributing to at least 60 semester hours are less than 3.00.score should be in the upper 50th percentile.
• Academic Credentials required: International students must get all their international college, university, or professional school statements of marks (transcripts) evaluated by one of the following organizations approved by the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education- World Education Services (WES), Education Credentials Evaluators Inc. (ECE), and American Education Research Corporation (AERC).
• Fill the application for Form I-20 and Certification for Financial Responsibility.
• Ensure that the admission packet is complete with all the required documents and forms filled properly and sent within the application deadlines for the concerned programs. Incomplete packets will not be considered for admission.
