You?ll administer computer information systems, collect and analyze patient data, and use classification systems and medical terminologies. Unlike a health information technician, you?ll also manage records departments and serve on administrative committees.
Our HIA degree is selective. Students will need to complete a formal application to the program after completing the health information technology program or obtaining a registered health information technician (RHIT) certification.
