A resource that enriches the artistic climate of the department is the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden, which houses one of the finest university collections of 20th Century American art. In addition, the Lentz Center for Asian Culture, the Great Plains Art Collection, and the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery offer many visiting exhibitions and lectures.
