Students majoring in Elementary Education may earn either the Bachelor of Science or the Bachelor of Arts degree, with the latter requiring two semesters of a foreign language. Students in the program will receive a broad theoretical and extensive practical preparation in the field of education. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible for an elementary license issued by the Nevada State Department of Education. This degree, along with completion of all state licensing requirements, qualifies students to teach students in Kindergarten-8 th grade.
