Nutrition is the study of food as it relates to the growth and maintenance of the body in wellness and disease states. It includes the science of food and experimental research of product development. Students study principles of institutional food service systems, as well as management and leadership theories.? Individuals pursuing a career in dietetics/nutrition have the opportunity to learn through classes in the management of food and food systems, the profession of dietetics and human nutrition, food science, research and medical nutrition therapy.? Many experiences are interactive and provide interaction in the work setting.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
- Submit SAT/ACT scores
- Applicants must have 18 ACT English or 500 SAT Evidence-based Reading & Writing or 3.00 Overall high school grade point average
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

- TOEFL: minimum score of 79 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
