This program?is appropriate only for individuals who have a Bachelor's degree in an area other than education. Students who enroll in this program have the opportunity to become certified in both General Education and Special Education Mild/Moderate at the Elementary level. Coursework is available both face-to-face on campus and through partially online, plus extensive field experience in the community.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent
- Applicant must have a valid teaching certificate
- Applicant must have one year of teaching experience
- Submit a letter of application
- Submit GRE scores
- Submit English Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- PTE: minimum 53
