Welcome to the Undergraduate Computer Science Program.? The Undergraduate Computer Science Program offers a four-year 120 hour ABET-accredited baccalaureate degree program in computer science. The degree consists of 44 hours in core computer science topics, 15 hours in a concentration topic, 30+ hours in mathematics and science, with the remaining hours in general education subjects.
By the time a student pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science graduates, he or she will have completed a concentration consisting of selected courses that relate to a particular application area. Students generally choose their concentration in the first two years of the program. Whichever concentration is chosen, every graduate will have taken the demanding common set of courses required of all of our graduates.? Each concentration area within the degree program has a collection of required courses and required electives. The electives are chosen from lists of eligible courses specific to each concentration.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
- Submit SAT/ACT scores
- Applicants must have 18 ACT English or 500 SAT Evidence-based Reading & Writing or 3.00 Overall high school grade point average
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
