- The Department of Biological and Health Sciences offers a Master of Science degree in Biology.
- A variety of research projects are available: a student can select a field or a laboratory oriented project. Fiscal support for qualified graduate students is available through scholarships, research assistantships and teaching assistantships. Many research projects are funded through federal and private sources.
- The Master of Science in Biology program has three options:
- The Thesis degree requires 30 credit hours
- The Research project degree plan required 36 credit hours, and

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
