A Kinesiology degree prepares students for careers in college or university athletic programs, professional sports arenas, the private fitness industry, human service organizations, allied health careers in hospital and medical centers, corporate wellness venues, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation settings, and education. The major also prepares students to apply to professional programs including medicine, physical therapy, physician assistant, sport psychology, athletic training, exercise physiology, biomechanics, or health education.
