The School of Visual and Communication Arts Healthcare Communication concentration will equip students with the tools necessary to design, produce, analyze and evaluate media products, strategies, procedures and content delivery for individuals, organizations, and corporations in the health-related industry. Whether creating health communication programs for needed populations, contextualizing healthcare issues for legislators or educating patients on their healthcare rights, the healthcare industry is in need of communication professionals able to navigate media messages that will motivate and inform the general public.
