Designed for working educators, the Master of Arts in Educational Administration cohort-based program is designed to prepare future leaders in private or public K-12 education. Concordia University Irvine’s program provides the opportunity for teachers to continue working while taking one course at a time. The program equips aspiring administrators to make strategic decisions, effectively lead, nurture, and sustain school cultures conducive to student learning. The MAEd Educational Administration degree program is standards-based and allows candidates to earn a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential while demonstrating competencies in the CalAPA cycles while earning a Master’s degree. The Concordia Master of Arts in Education: Educational Administration program is compliant with CalAPA. The program is offered online or in a blended format on CU Irvine’s campus.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of any other educational institution attended
- Applicants must have an avergae of B or equivalent in any major
- Submit a statement of purpose
- Submit a resume including your academic and professional experience
- Submit three letters of reference from individuals well acquainted with you; able to attest your potential for graduate studies and academic in nature
- Submit English language proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- PTE: minimum 54
- Duolingo: minimum 105
