The International Studies major will provide you a strong framework for experiencing and examining international cultures in respectful and insightful ways.
The International Studies major's mission is to attract and develop an exceptional group of world learners through a combination of individualized mentoring, multidisciplinary course work, intercultural fieldwork, and opportunities for compassionate action. The aim is to equip you with the global knowledge, intercultural grace, practical learning skills, and moral courage to succeed in vocations dedicated to promoting God's truth and justice in the world.
The International Studies major includes core courses from the fields of anthropology, communications, economics, history, sociology, and theology. The four-semester modern language requirement will strengthen your cultural engagement while preparing you for international study. Furthermore, the major offers you the opportunity to select an emphasis in line with your interests, strengths, and vocational goals:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit secondary school transcripts or marksheets and transcripts of any other education attended
- Submit a letter of recommendation directly from principal, school head or college counselor
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English language proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 90 in iBT with combined score of 34 in speaking and writing
- IELTS: minimum 7.0 with no component below 5.5
- PTE: minimum 61
- Duolingo: minimum 120
- CAEL: minimum 70
