Would I be a good fit?
- Yes! While all MAT students exhibit a desire to teach and are motivated to share life-experiences and real-world prospective with young people, a great amount of diversity exists among them. Our students range in age from 23?60 and come from highly diverse backgrounds, including stand-up comedians, former professional athletes, retail managers, research biologists, military aircraft pilots, journalists, chemists, linguists and pastors.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Submit a copy of your teaching license
- Agreement from your school corporation to support required field experiences
- Submit a personal statement about your background, research interests, long time academic and professional goals
- Submit a current resume
- Submit three letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with your academic performance
- Submit English language proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
