These degree offerings are intended to meet the high demand for professionals with broad-based training in pharmaceutical sciences. Furthermore, the need for minorities to be trained in this field is paramount since less than three percent of all minorities in the entire nation are in this field. The need for more minority pharmaceutical scientists is made even more imperative by the fact that certain diseases disproportionately affect minority urban populations.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in undegraduate or 3.0 in last 60 hours of education
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- Submit a resume
- Submit a personal essay of 300-500 words
- Submit GRE scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt;
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
